Fergusson Farm Included in the Official TN Registry as One of TN's Oldest Farms
The Fergusson family legacy dates back to the 1800's, building, growing and thriving in company with multiple generations of Trousdale neighbors. With such a deep registry of roots in Trousdale County, it's not only a professional goal, a personal commitment, and a desire to put experienced leadership to work, but it's also my inspiration persisting the family name, the legacy of serving Trousdale, and building a brighter day for future generations to come, providing a homegrown foundation to lead Trousdale County as your next Mayor. I'm asking for your vote, keeping Trousdale goals high and our commitments running as deep as the roots in our family farm!
Below is a copy of an original article printed in the Hartsville Vidette, Feb. 10, 2005, identifying your past Mayor as the occupant of the house, and your next Mayor as a youngster living across the road. Read to the end to learn of Civil War "action" on the Fergusson grounds as well! : )
Article reprint compliments of the ever-helpful Mr. John Oliver of the Trousdale County Historical Society.
